Cancer research education, training and career enhancement activities at MUMS Cancer Research Center encompass a broad spectrum of formal training programs, seminars, conferences and educational events spanning the academic continuum from Medical school through Postgraduate including faculty. Our mission is to support and coordinate the wide range of cancer-related activities — in basic, translational, clinical and population-based science. Our members include scientists and physicians from a wide range of disciplines, all collaborating to translate research advances into improved cancer treatments.

-  Developing and implementing programs that leverage the strength of MUMS Cancer Research Center in training the next generation of basic, clinical, and population researchers

-Providing a synergistic forum for academic exchange seminars, conferences and retreats to impart the   most up to date information for the education of trainees, faculty, and the community

-  Providing state-of-the art career enhancement opportunities to faculty

- Interacting closely with investigators studying cancer, blood diseases, and immunology in other sections of the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences
